Summer Launch Program Over the summer DLA students participated in DLA’s Summer Launch Program. The free program provides reading and math instruction, enrichment classes, and weekly field trips. DLA’s Summer Launch Program is a unique combination of additional learning time, opportunities to explore interests, and field experiences.
To prepare your child fully for the next grade level, Dayton Leadership Academies will be providing a FREE four week Summer Launch program for current students in grades K-7. Space is limited, so register TODAY! Summer Launch is mandatory for 1) any student who is not performing at grade level in reading and/or math according to assessments, or 2) are failing multiple classes, or 3) students who did not meet attendance requirements this year.

Dates: | June 1- June 30, 2021 5 days a week, Monday-Friday Students are required to attend all day, every day. |
Time: | 8:30am – 2:00pm

Daily Schedule: | 8:30am Arrival and breakfast 9:00am-2:00pm Reading and Math Instruction 12:00-12:30pm Lunch/ recess Fridays 12:30-2:00pm Enrichment Activities |
Location: | DLA Campus, 1416 W. Riverview Ave.

Teachers: | Instruction will be provided by DLA teachers

Meals: | Hot breakfast and lunch will be provided by DLA for all registered students via Aramark at no cost to families. |
Transportation: | Bus transportation will be provided by DLA for all registered students via First Student bus at no cost to families. |
Enrichment: | Students will participate in specials classes daily as well as enrichment activities each Friday afternoon! |
Please complete Registration by Friday, April 15th to acknowledge that your child will attend the four week Summer School program and keep this letter for your reference.
