Before and After School Program

Soaring Eagles Enhancement Program





The DLA Soaring Eagles Enhancement Program is a free before and after school program.  This is an exciting and educational opportunity, which also provides students with a nutritional meal and free bussing home.  The goals of SEEP are to increase math and reading achievement, contribute to positive social development, and increase family engagement in school related activities.  To achieve these goals, students will:

  • Engage in individual and family educational activities based on need and interest;

  • Take part in character building activities presented by community partners including Girls on the Run and Rites of Passage;

  • Receive homework assistance and  math and reading tutoring provided by DLA teachers

  • Participate in recreational and enrichment activities to enhance social emotion domains

SEEP Details


September 10, 2018-May 24, 2019

Students are required to attend every day.


5 days a week, Monday-Friday


Before Program (M-F)7:30am – 8:20am

After Program (M-Th) 3:30pm-6:00pm   (Friday) 2:00pm-5:30pm


Dayton Leadership Academies, 1416 W. Riverview Ave.


FREE instruction will be provided by DLA teachers.

FREE Recreation & Enhancement will be provided in partnership with Rites of Passage Girls on the Run and more.


FREE breakfast and evening snack/meal will be provided for all registered students.


FREE bus transportation will be provided by First Student for all SEEP students.

Daily Schedule:


7:30am-8:20am Arrival & Breakfast/Before Program

3:30pm-4:30pm Homework Help & Classroom Instruction

4:30pm-5:00pm Evening Meal

5:00pm-6:00pm Enrichment & Recreation


7:30am-8:20am Arrival & Breakfast/Before Program

3:30pm-5:30pm Snack & Recreation

Due to space limitations enrollment for this program is on a first come, first serve basis.  A waiting list system is in place to invite students to join the program as other students conclude their participation. This is a great opportunity for you and your child.
